How To Make Apple Pie Filling

Apple Pie Filling


Apples
3 Gallons
Water
2 cups
Sugar
6 cups
Ground Cinnamon
1 1/2 tsp
Ground Nutmeg
1 1/2 tsp
Apple Pie Spice
1 1/2 tsp
Corn Starch
3/4 cup

Peeling Apples 

Prepare
  1. Prepare Apple by peeling. coring, and slicing. (we took the slicer off for this peeling so we could quarter the apples, you can leave it if you prefer them sliced thin)


Quatered Apples 

Make

  1. Mix peeled and quartered apples, 2 cups water, and 6 cups sugar, cook until tender.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients and add to apples. Cook 1 minute.


Apples Simmering

Preserve

  1. Put in jars, seal and process 25 minutes in hot water bath.
